About the Nugget Sparks:
Located at 1100 Nugget Avenue in Sparks, Nevada, Dick Graves' Nugget opened on March 17, 1955. in 1960, John Ascuaga bought the Nugget in Sparks. Over the years the property expanded and changed. There are 1600 rooms along with a variety of restaurants. For many years (1962-1990's) a primary attraction at the Nugget was Bertha the Elephant and her baby, Tina.

A Silver Strike is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine in a protective plastic holder. People from all over the world collect, buy, sell and trade these unique gaming tokens. The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992.
