"Blue Caps" are considered "chaser strikes" and often times a limited edition. The casino would put only a few of these colored capsuled Silver Strikes in the machine at one time and a person would have to play and play it until this limited edition "Blue Cap" token could be won.

Casino Chip & Gaming Tokens Collectors Club is an educational organization with the mission of preserving gaming history. Every year there is a convention in fabulous Las Vegas where collectors, dealers and people who just admire gaming memorabilia come together to share information and add a few pieces to their collection. What is a Silver Strike?
A Silver Strike is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine in a protective plastic holder. People from all over the world collect these unique gaming tokens. There is also an official club where people buy, sell and trade Silver Strikes. The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992. The tokens have been issued with redeemable values of , , , , , , , 0 and 0. The most common denomination is .

The Palms Casino Resort is located at 4321 Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada which is near the famous Las Vegas Strip. The Palms project was first developed by the Maloof family. (Owners of the

The family previously owned the Fiesta Hotel and Casino in North Las Vegas - primarily a locals casino. With their great success in the casino industry, they sold the Fiesta and created the Palms.
The Palms opened on November 15, 2001. It was the on site location for MTV's "The Real World: Las Vegas" in 2002 and is a popular location for celebrities to visit.
The world famous Playboy Club was open from October 2006 to June 2012 on the 52nd floor of the Fantasy Tower at the Palms. It was the first official Playboy Club in the United States since 1988.

May 2016, Station Casinos purchased the Palms and began a 0 million renovation. The Palms Casino Resort is is the location of a variety of nightclubs, lounges and the Pearl Concert Theater.
