TropWorld:
In 1919 a 400 room hotel opened called the Ambassador Hotel along the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.  The property was called the Phoenix from 1978-1980 which included 549 rooms, 1200 seat theater and 60,000 square feet of casino space.  From 1981-1988 the property was named the Tropicana after its Las Vegas counterpart. A Silver Strike is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine and is in a protective plastic holder. People from all over the world collect, buy, sell and trade these unique gaming tokens.  The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992.  The tokens have been issued with redeemable values of , , , , , , , 0 and 0.  The most common denomination is .
